LIke you, I've had imposter syndrome over TS before, especially when I was somewhat successfully medicated. I'd feel like I'm not bad enough to be one of the tribe. That feeling has mostly gone away. My tics are becoming more consistent, and I'm having trouble masking them in the company of others. However, my grunting tic acts much more like a stim than a tic, and that has always thrown me off. Have a good time in Nashville. MY entire TS month advocacy has been a loan essay on my feelings regarding the I Swear controversy when it was released in the states. You got a mention in that one, but I don't think by name.
Thank you for reading, Jeff. I suspect imposter syndrome is a common theme. I'm hopeful to do more advocacy, but I confess I've also been consumed by this novel I'm writing, and I simply have to write that. I consider myself a writer first and foremost.
